![]() ![]() I've still lost a couple of retaliation missions to civilian casualties though. It proceeded to use 3 actions to kill 3 civilians which brought the civilian lost count up to be equal to the turn count. I had an un-activated sectopod start its turn in sight of 3 civilians after several turns in which no civilians were killed. However when there are turns when the aliens don't kill a civilian, it looks like they are allowed to kill more civilians per turn later on in order to catch up. ![]() Ideally you will activate the pod in the most civilian heavy part of the map first which will make sure the other pods are starved of civilians even faster. So long as they aren't in a corner of a map with 7 civilians gathered around them then you will often get turns where the aliens can't find a civilian. I find that so long as you agro a pod every few turns that the remaining pod runs out of civilians in their local area to kill. ![]()
